Huge Success at Schwere Reiter Halle and now

Extension of the extended reality Exhibition
from
12.Dec starting at 11 am till 31.Dez
2024
at the TOWN HALL MUNICH

Welcome to EMIXAR: Where Reality and Imagination Converge

We are opening our first exhibition called EMIXAR Continuum, which has turned out to be less than a brilliant idea, because people are already a bit confused.

There were many names, most of which sounded as if the target group was only Alla's former Latin teacher (who is of course very welcome) Fact: EMIXAR stands for  Extended MIXed Augmented Reality - Ugo Dossi added the vocals to make it flow.

Experience the future of art with Emixar Continuum.

Be aware: In EMIXAR Continuum, you will leave the reality you know and experience something artfully new.  Throughout the tour, you will view the exhibition through XR glasses and move around freely. The Mixed Extended Reality (MXR) experience appears when looking at real art objects or the art appears virtually, the technology becomes the secret ingredient. But we won't tell you any more than that: out of a passion for technology and art, we want to offer you a completely new experience and emotions: Joy through creativity!Translated with DeepL.com (free version)

What is XR?

Extended Reality (XR) is an umbrella term that encompasses a range of immersive technologies designed to merge the physical and digital worlds. It includes Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), and Mixed Reality (MR), each offering unique ways to interact with digital content.

Artist lineup in XR ambience

The fusion of physical art with digital, interactive overlays creates a new way of experiencing art.
The following lineup refers to the extended reality exhibition in the Schwere Reiter Halle. In the extension of the exhibition in Munich City Hall, we are showing an exquisite selection of the most popular installations and new works.

Local Curation

Gotlind Timmermanns is curating Emixar Continuum Munich, and as the Emixar Continuum exhibition series is shown in regional variations, artists were specially selected in Munich whose work is based in Munich: 10 international artists and performers from the fields of sculpture, light art, painting, installation, sound and dance were invited to this exhibition - both renowned well-known artists and promising young artists who are yet to be discovered.

She is particularly interested in the field of tension between drawing theory, religious or transcendental themes and contemporary art production.
